This is a beautiful trail. Easy access in Franklin or Oil City. Paved the whole way with very interesting historical markers. Connects to the Allegheny River Trail which is equally beautiful. I highly recommend this trail. Drive up often from Pittsburgh just to do this one, the Allegheny River Trail and the Sandy Creek Trail.

We rode our bikes from Emlenton to Oil City, spent the night and rode back the next day, great trip.

I love to walk here it's so pretty and right a long the water here in oil city. Many animals such as rabbits, birds, deer, chipmunks and squirrels. I would definitely encourage anyone to visit this place.

Easy to find parking in Franklin, and this rail trail also connects with the Allegany River trail and the Sandy Creek trail... Lots of places to take a break, portable restrooms here and there, excellent scenery.. Justus trail is about 6 mi one way.

Love this trail! It is well kept and a great, relaxing bicycle ride from Franklin to Oil City or Oil City to Franklin for a day trip to enjoy the food and History in either town. Lots of history markers along the way. Highly Recommended.

It is a beautiful paved trail alongside the river. It is smooth with benches and picnic tables along the way.

Nice short (15 miles out and back) ride on a paved trail in excellent condition. Nice views; shady to keep the heat out on a summer day.

I have grown up in Franklin, PA. I come back several times a year with my family and we always bring our bikes. The trails are a very fun experiance. We have seen lots of wildlife. You can go as far as you can handle. Beautiful views, wide, paived trails.

Bicycled from Franklin to Oil City and this path was nice and smooth. Very beautiful and green. I don't know why there aren't more people out there. They're missing out..!
