I'm prejudiced because I spent so much time here when I was growing up and in school many years ago. I guess I realized even then how lucky Oil City was to have a quality library in a beautiful building. Now, during a brief visit, I discovered it has been wonderfully maintained, with a bank of computers for internet access.

This Library is full of History...Literally! The Heritage room has all manner of photos and information about local citizens if you are looking for a long lost relative. Internet connection available.

This library is a regional gem and puts up creative and interesting programs, especially for children from all over the county.

I frequently use the Oil City Library. Great selection of books and open computers. Impressive for a town of 12,500.
