NaVoronda
The trail goes all the way to the top of the Sandia Mountains and is excellent for high altitude training or a family day hike or picnic.

This is a fabulous hike, (not for the beginner) well maintained trail, great views of Albuquerque, take lots of water, and a camera, you might see wildlife. Start early it gets hot at the bottom and can be cool at the top. One of my favorite hikes in nm.
