Smalley Falls and Long Slide Falls are some of the nice waterfalls located in Marinette County. No one will confuse them for Niagara Falls. There are actually a good number of waterfalls in Marinette County. One could easily spend a nice day exploring Marinette County looking at these falls. I believe one can find a nice map and directions on a Marinette County tourism website or simply by typing in Marinette County waterfall tour. My favorite waterfall in Marinette County is Dave's Falls located near Pembine/ Amberg. One other cool spot where you can watch whitewater rafting is Pier's Gorge located on the Wisconsin Michigan border near Iron Mountain, Michigan.

I would recommend viewing Smalley Falls prior to viewing Long Slide Falls because the former was a bit of a letdown compared to the latter. The falls were still pretty but didn't have the stunning grandeur of Long Slide Falls. It was also a bit difficult to get a good viewing angle from the outlooks at Smalley Falls.
