We happened to see the billboard on our vacation and decided to check it out, they have a cute country store, and a barnyard to visit the animals, our kids loved the gem mining and they had some great photo spots. We visited on December so there wasn't anything in season but still enjoyed the little stop.

If you want down home fresh, home grown products at their best and for the best prices. Friendly people, helpful. Wide range of jams, spreads and condiments. Great ice cream and apple cider. Weekends offer good country picking and singing. DO NOT MISS this stop while in Clayton/Lakemont.

We had stopped at another shop on the highway but were disappointed to find that the food items there were not produced locally. So we followed the signs over to Hillside Orchard Farms. It is a short bit off the main highway but so worth the drive! The farm setting is just beautiful. The apple trees were loaded with fruit. We did not check out the different attractions there, but spent our time browsing the shop. There were more kinds of jams, jellies, preserves, salsa, and pickles than you could imagine. And the baked goods looked so delicious. We bought a nice selection of jams and preserves, plus a small loaf of cinnamon-pecan bread. It has all been absolutely delicious! The clerks were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be stopping by here the next time we are in the area.

The kids totally loved it and i loved the jellies, jams and breads. The kids loved the mining, visiting the animals and the corn maze. We also ate lunch there at the cafe and it was so good. I will eat there again. I can not wait to go back.
