This is definitely the best thing to do when you go there.Admiring the apostles from the sky is just incomparable.The price is affordable, and you can even ask for the film of your ride on a USB key (45$).Just get sure you are not sitting in the middle of the back seats if you are going into a 8 seats helicopter (incl. pilot), otherwise it will be difficult to get nice pictures :-)

Well worth the expense, this is a well run slick business, run by friendly efficient young people. The aircraft are well maintained, comfortable, & the pilots give an excellent commentary.This flight gives a different perspective to the views from the ground.

Absolutely the best way to see the coastline!No better way than to see it from air!Team is super professional and friendly! no problems with my 120 KGs.Interesting information during the flight.We took the 15 minutes quick ride (AUD 145.00, worth every cent!!!)It gives you already a great view and flight experience. Advantage of the short flight: almost NO waiting time.We got there, paid, 10 minutes later in the air!If its in your budget, go for it !

This was my first helicopter flight. It was amazing. The sights from up in the air are so different from ground level. This was the highlight of my holiday. The pilot gives a running commentary on all the sights which was very informative.Would highly recommend this to anyone.

We went with the 20 minute ride plus video recording, pretty expensive but I thought it was worth it. The 10 minute option is way more popular but you will be in a big helicopter with 6-8 people. It looked too crowded to my liking when we were waiting next to the helipad.They put us in a smaller helicopter (4 ppl. max.) since we paid extra for the video, and in my opinion it was a good decision as we didn't need to look left and right to take pictures/videos of the magnificent view. The video captured everything, including the inflight audio. The pilot commented on different points of interest along the way and it was very helpful to get a better understanding of the peculiar and gorgeous coastline. We felt very relaxed while chatting with the pilot and enjoying the view.We got a usb with the video in it after we landed. The only minor complaint I had was that the video was in avi format, instead of mp4 which had a higher quality. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

This being my first Chopper ride, I was very excited. And boy, what a ride!Definitely worth every penny! The Pilot provided a running commentary during the flight The views from the Chopper were amazing and I got some shots which would have not been possible from ground. Must do!!

While we had been to the 12 apostles region before we had never seen them from the air....my god how awesome!I read the previous reviews re delays to get on board a helicopter and uninterested commentaries from the pilots....we must have come to a different company. We went on the longer Bay of Islands flight and we were told straight up we had a 25 minute wait.....enough time for a coffee.Our pilot was great he gave us a very informative review of the area and sights mixed with a great blend of humor. 25 minutes felt like 10 it was just so much fun and really the only way to see & photograph the apostles.Prices are fairly up there but choppers are expensive to service and operate so it all balances out. We had a ball and would do it all again in a heartbeat. Give yourself a real treat!

The 12 apostles are supposed to be the climax to the wonderful buildup to the great ocean road tour. Beautiful and inspiring.What a view. BUT what you see of the 12 apostles form the land is only a mere fraction of what one gets from the helicopter . . splendid and majestic . . .highly recommended.
