We were on our way to Port Douglas and there was a traffic jam due to an accident further down the road so we took a side trip into the park. The feeding sessions were interesting, the boat tour was ok and all in all, a good time filler for us whilst we waited for the traffic congestion to clear.

Ton of animals to see and lots to learn. By far the best bang for your buck in the Cairnes Willdlife Circle. You are guaranteed to see crocodiles in the lagoon and we saw them eat which was a once in a lifetime experience. Crocodile farm was educational but kinda sad. Not their fault at all, Dunkin did a great job of keeping it light and goofy so the kids could learn and have fun. The best parts of the tour are the snakes and crocodile shows. Damien was amazing. He made the experience. I used to be afraid of snakes but after the show I even put one around my neck. Not something I think my husband would ever see but thanx to Damien he made it seem harmless. I mean don't go chasing venomous snakes but a tame non poisonous snake is not something to be afraid of. Thanx for an awesome experience!

Had a really enjoyable day here - Croc attack and snake shows a definite highlight for our family of 2 adults and 2 young children.

Hartley's was recommend to us and we were very glad we visited!Cost of entry varies from individuals, couples and families however you can get relay good deals if you pre buy through for example RACV, RACQ ETC.The insight about how Hartley's began, their involvement in eradicating the black market killing of crocodiles and the education messages given about crocodiles, their habitat were enjoyable for all in our group from senior to toddlers. The opportunity to be up close to a crocodile in a safe manner was a great experience.Hartley's also has koalas, wallabies, cassowaries, bird aviary, snake education show, bearded dragons and much more to name a few.We enjoyed a scrumptious lunch at the cafe at Hartley's. The menu choice was great from simple Vegemite sandwiches, pre-made / cooked Focaccia's, hot chips etc, however our group ordered, (to name a few), prawn stir fry, barramundi salad & chips and a frittata with salad, all of which were fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were so friendly and informative from the moment we entered, the experiences throughout Hartley's and on our exit, so thank you to all at Hartley's for a truly great day and experience!!We would return and highly recommend a visit to Hartley's for people of all ages!

I visited Hartley's with my mum, dad and boyfriend as part of our holiday in Port Douglas and it was one of the highlights of the holiday for the whole family. The day itself was absolutely fantastic with so much to see from the crocodile feeding show, river boat cruise, crocodile attack show, snake talk, koala feeding (plus the chance to pat one of the lovely cuddly koalas) and the biggest surprise of the day was the kangaroo and wallaby feeding. Given this was a crocodile farm and attraction, we had no idea there would be kangaroos! My parents were over here from the UK so the chance for them to see and feed some of Australia's national emblems was a fantastic addition to the day. Would highly recommend this day trip to anyone-adults and children alike. Special shout out to one of the handlers Damien who was an absolute legend-very funny and clearly an expert in his field. If you can join him on the river boat cruise and the crocodile attack show you are in for a real treat!

This place is well worth the money. I am not a fan of reptiles at all, in fact find snakes and lizards creepy, so coming from me, this is a huge compliment. We hadnt planned to go to the croc farm as a part of our original plan. However, we managed to win a free pass in a competition and decided to give it a try rather reluctantly. And boy were we surprised or what! The place is amazing. Its a full day action packed adventure. The staff at the entry are well organized and give you a map with directions and timings for the different shows happening through the day. So we entered armed with the map and set out on the day long exploration. The boat cruise is wonderful, the guy who drove the boat was very knowleagble and had a true blue aussie sense of humor which we enjoyed thoroughly. The croc feeding was exciting too. These guys definitely are experts at what they are doing and whats more is that they are funny and can keep the crowd engaged. The snake show was a real entertainer. The lady who did the show pulled out a volunteer from the crowd and got him to hold a snake. Hilarious and entertaining. The best of the lot was the croc attack. The guys were so engaging and entertaining. They told us heaps about the crocs, demostrated the death roll and head shake and even fed the giant big cros by hand. Some guts displayed there! We were floored. The walks in the farm like the Gondwana walk, the cassowary walk was quite nice and informative. The cafe was quite nice and had a fair spread of items to choose from, not very expensive. Overall a very nice day spent. One tip: wear very comfy walking shoes, this place is no nice that you WILL feel like doing all the walks and that is more than 2kms of walking.

We went there not expecting all that much but were very satisfied with the day. The admission is $35AUD. This entitles you to go into the park unlimited for three consecutive days. We got there for the 11am feeding. The crocodile wranglers introduced us to a large salt water crock. Told interesting stories and facts about Crocs. They then did a feeding of the fresh water smaller Crocks we he went into the cage to feed the. Special Thanks to guide Damian, who explained a lot to us City slickers, on both the Boat ride, and The snake show. He was very entertaining, informative and professional. All and All great day.

This was one of the most enjoyable days we had in the north. We were told about the breeding of crocodiles and what they are bred for (their skin). We had a nice lunch at the cafe and were then taken on the lake for a croc feeding experience. It was quite exciting seeing them jump from the water for a piece of chicken and to see how large the are. After that we went yo the arena for the croc show. Recommend it to all.

Hartleys crocodile Adventure, captured in the name, it's central attraction targets a wide arrange of crocodile related issues, industries and information. Throughout the included tours the experience and wealth of knowledge doved upon the listening visitor ear truly is life changing. Tourists and especially locals are invited to widen their gaze as to the world of the salt water crocodilians learning a key fact "they don't just live in salt water". Facilities are well maintained, customer service and staff knowledge is outstanding and the experience is unforgettable. And if you aren't a crocodile fan, do not fear, koalas, cassowaries, kookaburras and the likes also find themselves home to Hartleys Crocodile adventure.

Do not miss the boat cruise, it is excellent knowledge from the Guide Mario, he was very friendly and confident. All the shows are entertaining and well done! All the animals at the park live in an natural habitat and the crocodile Farm is very interesting to see.
