So much to learn and see while in the Boone County Heritage Museum. I have a great time getting lost and imagining what life was like for the early settlers of these wonderful Ozark Mountains. There is a wide range of local and regional history. You will be surprised what you will find. I find something new and interesting every time I stop by. They also offer some special events showcasing a topic with historical significance on occasion sometimes including costume reenactments.
