Nice little New England town. Worth a visit! It is right on the Connecticut River and there are nice views.

If you are touring the area, don't miss a short detour (Fairlee exit on I-89 and cross bridge to Orford village -NH RT 10). Unlike any other New England village, here the town's wealthy erected mansions (some by Bulfinch) on a ridge set back from the road and surrounded by large gardens.
