A pretty plain tasting room but the selection and taste of the wines makes up for it. I tasted 5 wines for $5 and not one was a clunker. My favourites were the Malbec ($23) and Madelien Angevine ($14). Note that most of the grapes for their wines are trucked in from Yakima.

We attended an invitation only dinner to sample some of their wines paired with menu items. It was a lovely meal followed by a tour of the winery and its grounds. Lovely setting and friendly staff. Very enjoyable.

A knowledgeable and friendly steward introduced us to the family operated winery. They do a nice job at a variety of price points.

It's an OK place but as nice as some I've seen on tours in larger wine areas.

Hard work pays off for such a Northern Winery! A nice afternoon drive to the winery

We had purchased a day of wine tours through a charity function. Everyone was having such a good time, until we got to Mount Baker Vineyards. We joined 6 other people waiting in the deserted tasting room. We waited more than 10 minutes, and when the host finally showed up he was so unconcerned that he was making our tight schedule run late that we decided to simply skip their tasting. When he was that we were actually serious about leaving he tried very hard to excuse his actions, but we had already written him off. I will not go back and try again. We were nothing more than a bother to him.
