The mixed crowd, quizzo (at least the night we were there), board games and worn but comfortable interior make this a fun low-key place to get a few drinks. Just a good all-around vibe. Every town should have one of these.

The Albatross is a pub you would like to hand around your neck so you could take it with you anywhere. A great, fun friendly place with a terrific selection of beer and other beverages, darts & other games, and very pleasant, interesting people.

Love this place! Dollar bottomless popcorn, darts, trivia night, reasonably priced beer and more. Very cool vibe. Live music twice a week. Low key. It's the coolest place without trying to be cool at all.

Dieses Pub k?nnte, so wie es sich innen und au?en zeigt, auch in jeder englischen Stadt stehen. Der Unterschied ist nur, dass es sich hier bei den G?sten haupts?chlich um Studenten und sonstige Angeh?rige der benachbarten Universit?t Berkeley handelt. Diese G?ste machen nat¨¹rlich einen Teil des Charmes dieses Pubs aus. Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend da. Wie es dort ¨¹blich ist, gab es einen ?Pub Quiz¡° aber da es ¨C wie wohl immer - sehr voll und sehr laut war, konnte man da kaum konzentriert mitmachen. Aber die F¨¹lle an G?sten und der L?rm geh?ren zu dem Lokal; das muss so sein.Es gibt eine gro?e Auswahl an lokalen und internationalen Fassbieren und eine noch gr??ere Auswahl an Flaschenbieren. Diejenigen, die nicht ¨¹berm??ig kommunikativ sind, k?nnen an der Bar zahlreiche Brettspiele ausleihen.Leider gibt es keine K¨¹che, es ist jedoch erlaubt etwas von au?en zu essen mitzubringen. Das Pub liegt nicht im Stadtzentrum, sondern fast 10 Autominuten entfernt. Wer in Berkley gem¨¹tlich etwas trinken will und nicht ausschlie?lich unter Touristen weilen m?chte, dem ist das Albatross sehr zu empfehlen.
