enjoyed just wondering through the little gift shops and antique stores -- don't expect anything large and "showy". Nice little walk and shopping! Took me back to the "good old days" -- and we will forever remember seeing the smallest office ever -- my closet is probably bigger :-)

This little town has lots of stores downtown unlike a lot of smaller towns I have been in. Extra Large Hardware Store had lots of things and the Furniture Store had some really nice things

The buildings are old but it does not seem to be an old historic down town as you would expect from the signs. I was not that impressed with the historic aspect. I think the advertising signs to this town hype it up a little more than is worthy. There are some old buildings but nothing to get overly excited about. I guess a history lesson Is In Order here. A flyer or map with historical info on each old building would be great.

Nice small town - great break from I-80 drive. Get away from the fast food and Cabelas and visit a nice, old historic town.

Lots of older buildings and some shopping available. There are a few places to eat as well. There is no need to stay longer than an hour as it is just two blocks.

I have no idea how this can even be called Historic Downtown? I saw nothing when I went thru this 2 block town. The buildings are old, but not all of them...only a few that I could see.

There are some quaint little stores to shop in downtown. You sometimes find things you don't find in larger towns
