Not only is this a wonderful Cathedral to worship in (we were fortunate enough to attend a noonday Mass) it is a magnificent archetectual masterpiece as well as a living homage to the extrodinary artists and craftsmen whose works adorn the interior and exemplify their apparent love of their Creator.

Stunning stained glass, majestic columns, and a real sense of history make this a must-see in Savannah! At Christmas, the manger scene is not to be missed. Absolutely meticulous!

The Cathedral is absolutely stunning. The architecture, stained glass, statuary, and artwork are absolutely awe inspiring. Pictures are permitted but cannot due its beauty justice. You must see it in person!

Take time to examine the stations of the cross statues tucked into cr¨¨ches along the walls. Beautifully done!

What a lovely cathedral. Wonderful stained glass and mosaics. Towers gave been refurbished recently. It is an active house of worship so you need to check the schedule.

I first visited this cathedral about 16 years ago, just prior to its major renovation. It was beautiful then, and it is gorgeous now. The stained glass is magnificent, as is the architecture of the church. I am not Catholic, but I can sure appreciate this structure and worship God in it.
