This beach is one of the best I'v seen, so clean, My husband and I went for a walk on the beach, there were quite a few pebbles and at the time it was obviously too cold to sunbathe but I could well imagine being able to sunbathe in the summer. Beautiful beach and beautiful country.

Have had several walks this week-end. Winds fierce and bitterly cold. Beautiful for walking. From signs along the beach it shelves steeply and there are stron rip tides so shouldn't swim out of your depth and do so with care. Several wee cafes along the front and a lovely walk from the beach along the seafront past the Marina and harbour to where the ferry leaves for Rathlin Island. Ballycastle is a great wee town, plenty of good places to eat and a good few great bards with live music.

Beach was lovely great walk along the sea front lovely scenes from all areas. Gorgeous scenery and beautiful buildings and surroundings.

Perfect length for a walk. Nice and quiet, nothing but the sound of the waves and the odd ferry. Clean as a whistle, plenty for the kids to do with sticks, stones, rivermouth, dunes etc.

We live in ballycastle this is the view from our window every day we never tire of it it's so beautiful the beach is lovely to walk across and you can see rathlin Island a ferry goes there everyday weather permitting there is a walk beside the beach in the carrickmore road distance of walk 2.5miles each way very peaceful

It was raining when we went so we didn't stick around too much. There did seem to be a few activities for the Children on the beach front.

We have been to this beach a few times over the last ten years .we have allways found it to be clean uncrowned ,the wave's are beautiful. Visited it with the family,the weather was outstanding (,Got sun burnt ),the water so clean,the views spectacular ,You can see Scotland,Rathlin island,tower head etc.Great shop's cafe's ice cream parlour ,you also can get the ferry to Rathlin island.Ballycastle has got it all see it for your self some time see what you think.

A nice and quiet beach with sand. We visited on a nice summer's evening and it's a nice place to enjoy.

Ballycastle beach is a brilliant beach has a lovely biew point looking over the beach and has a lovely walk Way down onto teh beach very clean and kept tidy beach

ballycastle beech is a wonderful place to go ,theres a play park for kids ,with water features pirate ship for the kids ,while the adults relax.there is shops and a brilliant fish shop.the beech its self is very clean,people very freindly

i visited ballycastle yesterday august bank holiday. The aul lammas fayre was on. The weather was dull and windy but i walked down to the beach. It was clean and beautiful

Lovely beach, very clean. Children really enjoyed it. Lovely village with a good variety of restaurants and bars. Staff very pleasant and friendly.

Clean, great for walking, good access points. Ideal for children.Unfortunately there are no toilets at the east end of the beach.
