If you visit this lovey island in Denmark you must go to Dueodde brach. It is wide and has fine white sand. So perfect and pretty.The time you spend depends on the weather but it takes time to enter the beach.

Remote feel with small vegetated dunes. Great sand quality. Cold water with small waves. Lots of seaweed on the beach. Not many people. Pretty.

The best beach in Denmark, as far as I'm concerned, and one of the best in the world. The sand is white and so fine it cracks and crinkles when you walk on it (like snow...), and the water is crystal clear. A little strange to find pine trees behind you, as you would expect palm trees. The water is very shallow and there are absolutely no rocks so it's perfect with small children.

When you're near Dueodde, visit the lighthouse!! It's the highest in Scandinavia. It costs 20DK and it's a tiring walk up 196 steps but the view is spectacular. Also, look for World War II German reinforcements in the forest near bike path nr 10. As you approach Dueodde from Ronne direction, you will pass one entrance road to the beach (called something like the lighthouse way - Fyrvej) - don't take it, continue on bike path 10 and turn right into the second road to the beach. The reinforcements are not signposted, you need to turn into one of the small forest paths with names of the local houses. The beach itself is fantastic with very delicate sand and clear water. There were some seaweed in the area where we stayed but past them the water was so clear you could see tiny fish dart around your feet. The place was busy but not so busy - you just need to walk away from the main path and will have some more peace and quiet.

Great beach but very busy so we only stayed a while as we had our little dog with us and he is not used to crowds. Lovely soft sand.

We visited the Island Bornholm in June 2014, it was Family Holiday. We drove cross and around the Whole Island, and one day we were on Dueodde Beach. We swam and played in the sea, and there were 5 km of pure White sand...really beautiful, and a "must see" in Denmark.

Would you imagine white sand dunes in the middle of the Baltic Sea? That's Dueodde, beautiful beach in the Holiday Island. Despite of the cold water of the sea, you can have great times with good weather here.

Bardzo ciekawe jest doj?cie na pla?? po drewnianych pomostach. Sama pla?a na bywalcach naszego wybrze?a Ba?tyku nie zrobi wra?enia ale jest szeroka, z niskimi wydmami i pieknym drobnym piaskiem. Podobno ten piasek wykorzystywany jest w klepsydrach. Cisza i spok¨®j.

hvor var det ?rgerligt at vejret ikke var til en lang dag p? stranden. Dueodde er en fantastisk strand og vore s pige p? 1,5 ?r var ellevild. Desv?rre var vejret ikke med os og vandet var for koldt.
