The Orinoco river is so beautiful and what took my breath away, was when captain called me up to deck to look over the side. There were families in boats which were made from trees with a hollow cut from centre of the trunk and these were their boats. The people wore little clothes but guess they had more sense as the temperature was well up in the 40s. They had paddled out to ship to offer us bananas in return for any clothes or shoes we could give them. Their homes were built on stilts along the banks of the Orinoco. It was all rain forest and you could see the monkeys jump from tree to tree plus dolphins try to race alongside ship, however there was a few more creatures that didnt warm my heart like the night we arrived and gangway was put down, what was waiting but giant and I mean giant snakes at the bottom of the gangway. The scenery and landscape was so amazing and beautiful

Grazie ad una agenzia venezuelana, che ci ha proposto questo tour, ci siamo immersi per quattro giorno nella natura selvaggia di questo posto fantastico. Indicato a gente capace di adattarsi a situazioni pi¨´ disparate! Gli insetti di notte nelle palafitte sono il minimo. Un consiglio: cercare di inquinare il meno possibile. Lo smaltimento dei rifiuti ¨¨ davvero un grosso problema....anche l¨¬!

El delta del orinoco es un sitio muy linda en donde viven los indios guarao. la majoria de las turistas que van alla le gusta dormir en hamaca como los indios. la caminata en la cerva es muy divertido, se consigue muchas plantas medicinal y algunas cosas que se pueden comer como el palmito, coco indio etc. otra actractiva son los monos araguato, el ave prehistorica (guacharaca) o LE HOAZIN HUPE. en 4 dias se puede disfrutar todo eso

Das Land ist wirklich eine reise weet. Desalb k?nnen wir jeden den 2-tages-Trip ins Orinocco Delta bzw nach Canaima empfehlen. Mit der Machette durch den urwald, Piranhas fischen, Warao-Indianer kennenlernen, Papageien, Affen, flussdelfine und andere tiere sehen, hinter Wasserf?llen rumlaufen, den h?chsten Wasserfall der Welt besuchen usw. Einfach Beeindruckend!

Abbiamo fatto un tour del delta dell'Orinoco, esperienza unica con prsenza di una guida venezuelana che parlava solo spagnolo e guida indigena per la nostra guida che pilotava l'imbarcazione e ci mostrava i percorsi pi¨´ agevoli.Abbiamo percorso il delta su una imbarcazione, sembrava di essere in Apocalypse Now nella risalita del fiume. Abbiamo fatto il bagno nel fiume e quando siamo usciti la guida ha pescato i piranha con una semplice canna ed amo senza esca.Dopo 5 minuti di cammino nella giungla assediati dai mosquitos siamo riusciti a perdere l'orientamento non appena la nostra guida si ¨¨ allontanata.Un consiglio abiti con maniche lunghe e pantaloni lunghi, repellente biokill per gli abiti e tanto olio (non profumato) per le parti scoperte, (autan o similari non servono a nulla).Buon tour a tutti

Der Orinoco bildet zun?chst eine nat¨¹rliche Grenze zwischen Venezuela und Kolumbien. Hier nimmt der Fluss viel Sediment auf und schleppt es bis in den Unterlauf. Sehr sch?n anzusehen sind Flussm¨¹ndungen des Orinocos, an denen klares Wasser in den hellbraunen Orinoco flie?t (z.B. beim Rio Caroni in Ciudad Guayana). Das Delta des Flusses im Nordosten von Venezuela ist ein tolles Ausflugsziel f¨¹r 2-3 ?bernachtungen. Man kann auf hunderten kleinerer Flussarme die tolle Natur erleben. Das Delta ist ein Vogelparadies: von Tucanen, Aras, Reihern, Pelikanen bis hin zu kleineren V?geln. Richtung K¨¹ste vermischt sich das S¨¹?- mit dem Salzwasser. Mit etwas Gl¨¹ck kann man hier au?erdem verschiedene Schlangen (unter anderem Anakondas), Piranhas, Kaimane oder vielleicht sogar einen Puma bzw. Jaguar sehen. Eine Flussfahrt auf dem Orinoco wird garantiert zu einem tollen Erlebnis.
