We spent just over an hour on a guided tour, the house and fixtures are well preserved and give a good insight into the Truman era. I just wish more was open to the public.

The house and grounds are historic. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting about all presidential visits. The video showed live footage from Truman's time.

We took a tour of the house, which did not cost much. It was a blast from past as the decor inside looks as if when Truman was there often, although other presidents have used it since. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and just learn about a few important things/decisions that happened here was great.

This was a wonderful tour we took in December of 2013. We are lucky that we are able to enjoy this chapter in history. The tour person was wonderful! I am very lucky to have participated in this tour!!

I'm amazed at how this little island has had such dignitaries in this house. Just to be in the same place as they were is a pretty big thrill. And the Presidents' grandchildren seem to always be coming by. Maybe they will be there one day when I come.

Visited this site for a second time with friends. Guides are well informed and very interesting. Interesting trip back in history to when presidents were more like every day workers serving the country to the best of their ability. The desk-top reminder that "The buck stops here" should be a permanent fixture on the president's desk in D.C. Such a mentality is truly lacking today. Truman was the type of leader we need today and the tour provides a feeling for the man and the time in our history. Well worth a visit.

We had a very large group, but Anne our tour guide made us all feel very comfortable. She was outstanding. The house very intresting.

So much history occurred here between the time of Truman and Kennedy. This is such a part of history as is most of Key West.
